Samanayrs

The Festival of New Spring is underway, a celebration of the arrival of spring and the new life it brings! The Song of the Rainbow Hotsprings is teeming with Samanayrs who've come from near and far to celebrate the return of spring and the presentation of new foals. The Song of the Rainbow don't seem to have any foals this year, but that's certainly not putting a damper on the celebrations! Feasting and dancing, singing and laughter are the order of the day.

In fact, the festivities seem a little more rambunctious than usual this year! There's a number of newcomers among the celebrants, many with rather canine-like qualities, who seem to enjoy digging holes and making a general ruckus. You might even say that the Festival is going to the dogs!

It's the fourth annual Festival of New Spring, the Samanayr celebration of the new season and the new life that's all around. The Festival will be taking place over the new four weeks or so, with a couple of events per week. I don't have a firm schedule at the moment but I hope to get one up in the next couple of days as I get organized!

Most of the Samanayr prizes will be canine-mimic Samanayrs, many of them by guest artists, and you may see a feline-mimic here or there too ;D

Ugh, I ended up getting Baby Sushi's cold o_x I was completely out of commission yesterday and still feeling pretty gross today. Just waiting to hear back from one person about the beauty pageant, then one more slot will be open in one of the categories (depending on what they choose), then I'll be able to get the voting up! Hopefully it'll be ready to go tomorrow. The next events should still start on the 20th, the voting just might go over a day or two.
