Deep within a dark and lonesome forest live the great and powerful witch Hildegrun and her faithful Lamanayr companion Burst of the Breaking Bubbles, or Bubbles for short. Being a witch of much skill and renown, Hildegrun’s potions are in high demand by the local villagers. But with autumn well on its way and winter just around the bend, Hildegrun is far too busy to deliver the potions herself; and so she decides to send Bubbles out to make the deliveries.
But when faithful Bubbles goes to gather up her mistress’ potions, she notices that none of the four ominous looking bottles are labeled. What’s worse, the list of who ordered what seems to have gone missing as well! All the mare can find are the witch’s scattered notes. Poor, poor Bubbles! Can you help her sort out the potions and make all the deliveries?
Your task is to sort out which of the four potions are in which of the four bottles and to whom each should be delivered. This type of puzzle is commonly referred to as a Logic Grid puzzle, so you may want to try organizing your information into a table or chart to see what you know and don’t know. Each variable is used once and only once. All the information you need will be provided!
The Rules!
- There is a limit of one entry per person.
- Please don't edit your entry after you've sent it to me
-
Please do not post any answers in this thread! Doing so will
disqualify you.
-Your answer can be either a list or a table as long as the answers are clearly marked.
-The first person to complete the puzzle correctly will have first choice of the prize pool. Additional winners will be drawn from all other correct entries so don’t fret if you’re not the first one you still have a chance!
I will post the clues tomorrow, Sunday October 21 at
10am 8am PDT, at that point you are free to begin working on the puzzle.
To enter, please send me a PM with the subject
Double, double, toil and trouble with your answers. The event will close October 28, 10pm PDT. Good luck!
Oh, and as for the prizes? They are super-spooky-mysterious prizes, so mysterious even
I don't know what they are >.> Sushi is busy working on them ^_^
Edit: Screwed up the time zones, sorry about that -_- Contest will still be closing at 10pm PDT on October 28

I'm glad so many people are enjoying this contests, I had
so much fun writing it

And I hope it's not causing too much stress or anxiety. Just remember to take your time!
Any resemblance between Burst of the Breaking Bubbles and a certain clumsy Pegasus was purely intentional. Oak rocks XD

Just a reminder that the contest ends Sunday night! I'm about to be incommunicado, we're moving (

Oh and Sushi gave me a peak at the prizes and I'm so jealous of you guys

Ya wanna see? I be you do!
Still plenty of time to get an entry in! Good luck everyone, and have fun! I'll see ya on Monday!

Bubbles was very grateful for all the help she got in sorting out the potions and customers. All four were successfully delivered to their respective purchasers.
The Blacksmith purchased the wealth potion, sealed with a cork
The Mayor purchased the love potion sealed with a glass stopper
The Bard purchased the illusion potion sealed with wax
The Flowerseller purchased a curse potion sealed with a metal stopper.
tbiris was the first to solve the puzzle correctly and gets first choice of the prize pool. Random.org decided that
Origami_Dragon gets second pick and the third prize will go home with
LvSoulFriend. Congratulations to the three of you, just post which prize you would like in this thread.
Thank you to everyone for participating and Happy Halloween

Yay, got the answers right! Been so long since I played with logic puzzles like this. Was fun. Ooh, and a prize too? Yay! Such a pretty set of choices... I'm sort of glad that I didn't get first...this way at least I have a smaller pool to debate over. They're all so different and so stunning. Congrats to the other winners too!
Thanks for hosting this amazon, was fun to puzzle over how the pieces fit together.
