Going through these entries was so much fun, I loved seeing Samanayrs portrayed in all of the different mediums! Thank you for participating I've also decided to change the participation prize a little. If you didn't win the grand prize or a runner-up prize, you can choose from the random modiem or a semi-custom pet token! Just let me know which you would like

It's been a while since we've had a good old fashioned art contest.. and we won't be having one today, either! Instead, we're having a good brand new alternative medium art contest
What's an alternative medium? Anything that's not 2D traditional art materials (pencils, colored pencils, paint, markers, etc) or digital art! 3D art? Mixed media? Diorama? Cross stitch? Mashed potatoes? Let's see it!
I'll be picking a grand prize winner and two runner ups. In addition, the community will vote for the 'fan favorite' winner
Rules and info
- There is a limit of one entry per person.- The theme is Fire and Rainbows! You're welcome to interpret that however you'd like, but your entry should include Samanayrs in some way too XD
- You're welcome to use any materials besides traditional 2D art materials (pencils, colored pencils, paint, markers, etc) or digital art.
- You can include these materials if they play a minor role in the piece but aren't the primary media used. For example, you could have a Samanayr colored with markers as part of a mixed media piece but couldn't just draw and color a scene entirely with markers.
- All work must be your own.
- All entries will be displayed once the event has closed!
- The grand prize winner and runners-up will be judged based on creativity, effort, originality, and use of the theme. I may enlist Mr Sushi to help me judge XD
Grand Prizes!
The grand prize winner will get to pick first from the prize pot and will get to choose two prizes! I will randomly determine which runner-up will choose from the prize pot next, and the remaining prize goes to the next runner-up. The grand prize winner and runner-ups will also each receive a modiem set (one of each!).There will also be a prize awarded to the 'fan favorite' entry, chosen by the Samanayrs community! When the event is over, I'll set up the vote to run while I'm working on choosing the grand prize winners
