The Festival of New Spring - main thread!

Spring has sprung! The days are becoming steadily warmer, the snow has melted from all but the most determined shadowed areas, and the land is changing from brown to green as new shoots and leaves burst forth.

The Song of the Rainbow Hotsprings is once again bustling with activity as Samanayrs come from all over to celebrate the changing of the season. Songs and Samanayrs mingle, dance, and play, greeting family, friends, and even some new foals, much to everyone's surprise - the second group of the fourth Song of the Rainbow's foals are making their debut!

Welcome to the second Festival of New Spring, the Samanayr celebration of the new season and the new life that's all around. Their pets are also getting in on the fun this year, and this Festival will see the first pet breeding season!

A small Dragonet circles in the sky above the events, a small sound comes from its belly. Burbles of hunger and longing fill the air as the small creature waits for food. It flies alone, waiting for the chance to get some food once its served, only problem is... Too many people are present! All the food gets eaten JUST as this little girl goes for some.

Lend this little girl a hand and get her some food! Not only is this little girl Hungry... but she is VERY hungry! The person who gets her the most food will win her happy hungry heart! Just make sure, if you enter that you have the means to support such a roaring stomach


Rules:
Randomly through out the Festivities there will be food that shows up here in this Part of the Post. If you see there is food here please post whatever phrase is under that food in BOLD to claim it from the table (Make all posts in this thread). There will be random numbers of food at random times, so please dont get discouraged if you dont see any. Check back later!

If someone posts your phrase, you ARE allowed to post another phrase, Limit 1 food item per appearance. (Meaning, you may get a food item each time they randomly appear... they will appear all at once 1-5 pieces per random round).

Yay, sounds like a super awesome funtastic festival!!

Only one more day of exams left(tomorrow) and most of the events start after so I can join in! Might miss a few of the mini game things if there should be one tonight and tomorrow morning but after I will transform into super stalker mode. I just hope the customs don't happen yet...

Sams Likes/Dislikes: Singe loves anything pretty, especially shiney things. She's not such a fan of wind or rain though since they usually mess up her fur and she's rather fond of her image XD
Why should your sam be picked?: Well, first of all, I think their colours match nicely, especially with her feathery headband, and I think he would look adorable sitting on the top of her head. They both have wings and would be able to fly together, she has a nice strong stallion and song to protect them both, and I think it would be good for her to have someone to look after and protect.

Sams Likes/Dislikes: Regality likes sunrises, sunbathing, preening, and everything relaxed but fun. She might come off as stuck-up, but she definitely isn't, and is really quite the friendly girl. She doesn't like cold weather, though, or wind (because it ruffles her feathers!).
Why should your sam be picked?: Colour coordination ho! Regality goes great with the little pet there. <3 Also, I'm sure they'd get along fine, with lots of time for naps and hanging out. Regality would definitely help shield the poor thing from strong wind, too, so it doesn't hurt its wings, even if it'll mess up her lovely feather mane. Her non-dirty, non-active lifestyle is probably safest, too. No worries of the little dear getting trampled, either!

Nut-Gathering Contest
Walking around the hotsprings, you are distracted from the other Samanayrs by a rather ditzy looking stallion sitting at the edge of one of the pools and looking around almost eagerly, with a sizeable open-topped container clutched between his hooves. You wander over and he jumps up, a smile lighting his face and red-blue streaked wings flaring behind him.

"Well, hello! I was hoping someone would come by soon. See, I found this little critter near our hotspring but our own resident dragonette can't stand her. So, she needs to go somewhere... Else."

You look into the box and a small, wild dragonette chirps up at you;


Tapping his hoof on the ground the stallion brings your attention back to him. "Now, these wild ones, they need Sam's with enough energy to handle them, not just anyone can do it! So to find an appropriate companion I'm going to run a little competition for the rest of the celebrations." He brushes away some leaves to reveal a pile of inedible green nuts. "If you can impress me with your wilderness knowledge, your keen eyes, or even your memory of other Sams, then you will get a nut. The one with the most nuts at the end wins!"
And with that, he waves you away to begin explaining the rules to the next curious onlooker.

That's right, it's another point gathering contest! It will be filled with a variety of short, simple games like Guess the Number/Color, Messed-up Images, and animal Trivia. Who knows, some guess-the-sam might even work it's way in here!
All you have to do is be on the lookout for questions/events here or on PI, and be the first to answer correctly. Simple, no?

Sam's Likes/Dislikes:She's a pretty serious and aloof Sam. She likes peace and quiet and the sound of the wind in her branches. She dislikes boisterous Sams, a lot of noise and bother, anything rambunctious.
Why should your sam be picked?:I think the two of them would go extremely well together. A little butterfly to sit on her tree! Not to mention that having a little pet to look after might open her eyes to the fact that there's more out there than the forest and the members of her Song.
